Mars

Module Introduction

Mars

Mars is a module board created by Telink to promote chip products. It uses the chip TLSR9218B, the current version is V1.0 and supports protocols of ZigBee, BLE, Matter and etc. Users can easily evaluate the chip or integrate the module board into their own circuit system to extend the wireless function for their own system.

Picture of Module Board

From the figure below, the module board leaves only the necessary interfaces to make the interface as simple as possible. The interface definition is as follows.

From the photo below, the size of the module board is similar with a ¥1 coin which has diameter of 25mm.

Interface Function

The functions of the Mars interface on the Rocket board are shown in the following table.

Interfaces on the left Function Interfaces on the right Function
RESET Hardware rest PA5/DM USB_DM
PD3 Right button PA6/DP USB_DP
PD2 Middle button PA7/SWS Download and debug
PD1 Left button PB2/TX UART0_TX
PE0 IIC_SCL PB3/RX UART0_RX
PC2 IIC_SDA PB4/RTS GPIO
3.3V 3.3V power PB5 ADC
GND Power GND GND Power GND
  • PD3, PD2, PD1 are used for thumbwheel switch.
  • PE0 and PC2 are multiplexed as IIC, with 0.96-inch OLED, SHT30 (temperature and humidity sensor), and LIS2DH (3-axis accelerometer) mounted on the IIC bus.
  • PA5 and PA6 are used as DM and DP for USB.
  • PA7 is used as SWS for downloading and debugging.
  • PB2 and PB3 are multiplexed for UART function, connecting to the on-board CH340E (UART_TTL to USB).
  • PB2 and PB3 are multiplexed for UART function, connecting to the onboard CH340E (UART_TTL to USB).
  • PB5 is multiplexed as ADC function to collect the voltage value at the photoresistor.
  • The lower left side leads to 3V3, SWS, GND, DOUT, where DOUT is the serial output DOUT pin of the on-board WS2812B, which can be used to connect more WS2812Bs in series.
